About Manuguru

The Manuguru Gram Panchayat has been constituted as 3rd Grade Municipality from 15-6-2005 vide G.O.Ms. No. 561 dated 31-5-2005 (Municipal Administration) Hyderabad and Manuguru Municipality.

Manuguru Town is located in Bhadradri Kothagudem District of Telangana State. Manuguru is an Urban area, situated on the banks of River Godavari. It is one of the famous areas for the coal mines in the state. The turnover for production of the coal is very high compared to other areas. Manuguru is census town in Bhadradri Kothagudem District. It comes under Mahabubabad parliamentary constituency and Pinapaka Assembly Constituency. Population of this town as per the 2011 census is 32,065 and the town is over on area 24.86 Sq.Km and is divided into 23 wards, the total length of roads in Manuguru Municipality is about 70.58Km. This Municipality area was covered under 1/70Act., hence, no building permission were issued by the ULB.

Manuguru town is well connected to the temple city of Bhadrachalam and Parnasala.
